The Seniors-Brain Link program provides information about these areas of impairment, and the best practices to support survivors of fall related TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). Free presentations are offered for anyone who works with and supports older adults. Please contact [email protected] to book your presentation.

Things to Consider:

• Almost two-thirds of falls occurred in a private home, most commonly on stairs, in bedrooms, and in bathrooms.
• Medical/residential institutions were the second most common locations for fall-related TBI
• Medications (such as blood thinners) can play a significant role in TBI, putting the individual at increased risk
