Brain Waves

Picture
Brain Waves Education Program aims to help parents and elementary teachers educate children on important topics surrounding the human brain through visiting and presenting in elementary schools. Due to COVID-19, we will not able to present our education modules in schools this year, and have instead decided to create virtual education modules accessible online in conjunction with Parachute Canada.

The virtual modules will include topics such as:
  • Functions of the human brain
  • Brain lobes
  • The 5 senses
  • Brain health and safety
  • Concussion safety and management
  • Helmet safety and brain protection

There will be three separate education programs for students in:
  • Grades 1-3
  • Grades 4-6 - COMING SOON!
  • Grades 7-8 - COMING SOON!

The program will be launching in the coming weeks! We can't wait for you to use it.

Thank you to Parachute Canada for helping provide information, images, and activities for our Brain Waves Program.
