                  Monthly Support Groups

COVID-19 UPDATE:

Our in-person support groups are suspended at the moment.
However, we are meeting two times a week for "chats." Please check our
Facebook page for details on how to connect!

Monday Chat 1:00 p.m.
Thursday Chat 11:00 a.m.

New support group for young adults!

The Youth Brain Circle is a safe and informative sharing space where we as peers provide a listening ear to other survivors. A biweekly group for young adults ages 18-36.

Group members should expect to meet other peer survivors who are looking for informal support, a place to discuss and share day to day ways of coping with your brain injury, we are not intended to be a therapy group and have excellent referrals for professional supports attached to the BIAWW sites list of medical recommendations. Please see our professional directory for a list of service providers. See HERE

What you can expect is access to resource sharing, and access to topics related to brain injury and health, some examples are TEDtalks, podcasts, health apps that we have screened and found to be helpful

The goal is to create new social links, and lessen social isolation especially during the covid pandemic.

The dates for the next group cycle will take place on May 5 & 19 and June 2 & 16
