About Us
The Brain Injury Association of Waterloo-Wellington (BIAWW) is a charitable organization devoted to supporting individuals with acquired brain injury and their families in the Waterloo-Wellington region.
We advocate for increased services for individuals with brain injuries.
We educate elementary children and the public on helmet & brain safety.
We connect survivors & caregivers to professionals and to others like themselves through support groups, peer mentoring and social events.
We empower survivors through art, mental health and other programs to allow them to deal with their injury in the best possible way.
